A true family run business since 1984, the roots of what was to eventually become D & P Reinforcements began with Dallas Seldon joining his step father Peter Powers’ business at the young age of 18, specialising in the steel reinforcement industry within construction.

In 1998 we officially became D & P Reinforcements ltd, a limited company with Dallas and Helen becoming our directors. Going forward we continued a trend of rapid growth working on a wide variety of projects throughout the UK for a broad range of clients, from smaller independent firms right up to large well known corporations.

BULK EARTH WORK

Whether you’re planning a new motorway, the construction of a commercial facility or residential development, we’ll take care of the earthworks for you. RETAINING WALLS

Retaining walls are built in order to hold back ground and stabilise slopes so as to provide useful areas at different levels of elevation, such as, a terrace or building.

As piling and groundwork experts we will install a reinforced concrete wall when there is no access restriction to the site and an area can be safely excavated, otherwise, we will install a contiguous piled wall.

STEEL FIXINGS

D & P have worked on many commercial and civil engineering projects including large infrastructure seaports, airports, bridges, shafts and tunnel projects.

CONCRETE

We offer complete concrete foundation work on a wide variety of structures and undertake any type of Concrete Work including reinforced concrete slabs and concrete frames. During the pre-construction stage we agree to mix designs, finish, samples, board layouts, nail setting out, tie hole setting out, GGBS percentages, strike times, etc. before starting any work on site.

We have highly experienced in-house concrete workers, carpenters and concrete finishers to take on any Concrete Works you may need – big or small – and to any level of finish.

FORMWORK

We have many years of experience in using various formwork and falsework systems and erecting bespoke formwork and falsework systems for each individual project. The beauty of concrete formwork is that it can be completely tailored to your needs. Flexible and able to be formed in whatever size, style and shape you require, our specialist concrete formwork is ideal for any commercial, private or industrial application.

SHUTTERING

Shuttering is the name used for containing small amounts of concrete, for perhaps a new room, a shed, a concrete garden path or a small house. The framework is the term used for larger constructions such as multiple properties, laying foundations for a large skyscraper or a large shopping centre.
